Kenny Rhodes, age 50, of Benton, Arkansas passed away Sunday, December 11, 2022 at the Pleasant Hill Care Home in Benton after a brave battle with cancer.

The son of David Ray and Kaye (McQueen) Rhodes, he was born December 28, 1971 in Guymon, Oklahoma. Kenny attended school in Guymon graduating with the Class of 1990, and attended Seward County Community College in Liberal, Kansas.

Kenny moved from Guymon to Benton in 2001 and remained there to be near his sons. He was a carpenter, specializing in finish work. His hobbies included playing guitars, collecting coins, being with his sons, going to garage sales and pawn shops, supporting the Arkansas Razorbacks, and designing and crafting custom jewelry.

He is preceded in death by his father, David Rhodes, his paternal grandparents, Luther and Jennie Lou Johns and maternal grandparents, Darrel and Dot McQueen.

Survivors include two sons, Mason and Sean Rhodes both of Benton, his mother and step-father, Kaye and Patrick Scott of Weston, Colorado, one brother, Steve and wife, Amy Rhodes and niece, Kaylee Rhodes all of Guymon.

Funeral services will be Friday morning, December 16 at 10:00 a.m. at Victory Center Church with Jeremiah Mallard officiating. Interment will follow in the Elmhurst Cemetery. A family visitation celebrating his life will be held Thursday eveing, December 15 between the hours of 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Bunch - Roberts Funeral Home.
