Kenneth Edward Darnell, 76, passed away Saturday evening, June 1, 2024 at his home in Guymon surrounded by his loving family.

The son of Arthur and Loretta Darnell, he was born March 18, 1948 in Denver, Colorado.  Kenneth attended school, graduating in 1966 from North Hollywood, California.

Kenneth was united in marriage to Kay L. Thompson on April 30, 1967 in North Hollywood, CA. The family moved from Saugus, California in 1985. Kenneth was a restaurant owner and chef. He owned and operated several automobile dealerships, including Collectable Autos in Guymon.

He is preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter, Emily El-Amoudi, and three brothers, Gary, Richard and Robert.

Survivors include his wife, Kay Darnell of the home, one daughter, Kim El-Amoudi of Guymon, two grandchildren, Adam of Denver, Colorado and Lauren of Guymon, and one sister, Lue Caldwell of San Antonio, Texas.

Family inurnment will be in the Elmhurst Cemetery. Memorials in memory of Kenneth may be given to Meals On Wheels or Guymon Gators. Memorials will be accepted at Bunch - Roberts Funeral Home, P.O.
