Katonya Latrice Jones, 49, of Guymon passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at the Memorial Hospital of Texas County in Guymon.

The daughter of Virgil Chambers and Patsy Mason, Katonya was born October 25, 1975 in Waynesboro, Mississippi.  She was raised and attended school in Waynesboro, graduating in 1994.

Katonya had moved to Guymon last year to be near her sister.  She loved to have fun and made everyone laugh with her percolator dance.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Linda Mason and Melissa Ray.

Survivors include her three daughters: La'Kiva Jones, Star'Kera Jones and Ashanti Jones all of Guymon; one grandbaby on the way; five sisters and one brother: Layvonda Cooks, Shamika Calloway, Brittany Williamson, 'Little Sister' Carter, Shantavious 'Fat Boy' Williamson, and Brooklyn Calloway.  She is also survived by her 2nd mother, Carlene Wilson and special family: Eva Grace Montgomery, Latonya Smith and Shay Carter.

Cremation arrangements are under the care of the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon.
