Obituary

Judith Lynn (Johnston) "Judy" Wilkinson, 82, longtime Guymon resident passed away Thursday, March 9, 2023 at the Five Points Nursing & Rehabilitation in Amarillo from injuries she had received on Christmas day.

The daughter of H.B. "Johnnie" and Helen (Brown) Johnston, Judy was born September 24, 1940 in Liberal, Kansas.  She attended the Guymon school system, graduating with the GHS Class of 1958.

Judy worked as a hairdresser for over 30 years and managed the Prairie Village and Prairie Village SW Mobile Home Parks.  She was a member of the Delphinium Garden Club, the Artist's Studio of the Northwest, the order of the Eastern Star and enjoyed volunteering her time in the Genealogy department at the Guymon Public Library.  Judy was also a member of the Panhandle Bible Center.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her most precious granddaughter, Jessica Wilkinson.

Survivors include her brother, Doug Johnston and wife Donna; her three children: Jeff Wilkinson, Morgan Wilkinson and Mea Wilkinson; and her four grandchildren and six great grandchildren: Clay and Jamie Wilkinson and their children, Wren and Miles; Carlin Wilkinson and son, Quentin; Kyle and Desiree Wilkinson and their children, Elie, Steven and Avery; and Seth Wilkinson; along with other extended family and a host of friends.

A celebration of Judy's life will be held at a later date with inurnment in the Elmhurst Cemetery.  Services are under the care of the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon.
