Judy Bostick, 75, of Guymon passed away Friday morning, December 15, 2017 at her home.
The daughter of Freddy Wyatt and Edith Annabelle (Hess) Combs, Judith Arlene was born September 8, 1942 in Anthony, Kansas. Judy was raised in the Nash, Oklahoma area, where she attended school and graduated with the Class of 1960.
Judy and Benny Ray Jones were married in 1962. Three children were born to this union: Conya, Kevin and Debra.
Judy and Jimmy Ray Bostick were married on September 2, 1989 in Rawlings, Wyoming. He preceded her in death on January 30, 2000.
Judy had worked as a tax preparer for H & R Block, worked as a loan provider at Sun Loans and also worked in retail, most recently with WalMart. She loved being with family, teasing her grandkids and being with her animals. Judy also enjoyed crocheting, knitting, gardening, working any kind of puzzles and shopping for jewelry. She was a member of the Eastside Church of Christ.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Shirley Harris and husband, Charlie.
Survivors include her children: Conya Schnabl and husband, Joe of Denton, Arkansas, Kevin Jones and wife, Stella of Guymon, Debra Wells and husband, Clint of Snyder, Texas and Darla Worley and husband, Larry of Sunray, Texas; her grandchildren: Quinton (Kellie) Huls, Shayna (Brent) Coy, Christy Castlebury, Billi Jo Castlebury, Collin Rupp, KyLeigh Grove, Isaac (Indra) Grove, Kaitlynn Jones, Addison (Mary) Hill, Patrick Schuette, Joanna Schuette, Destiny Wells, Patsy (Eddie) Ortega and Rachel Romero; along with 26 great grandchildren. Judy is also survived by her brother, Roy Combs and wife, Brenda of Paris, Arkansas; her sister, Pam Tippin of Oklahoma City; special sister-in-law and friend, Rosalea Griffith of Liberal, Kansas and special friend, Debbie Hudson of Guymon.
A celebration of Judy's life will be held Thursday afternoon, December 21st at 2:00 p.m. at the Guymon Eastside Church of Christ, 401 N. Pracht Ave. Services are under the care of the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon.
The family suggests that memorials in Judy's name be made to Healthwatch Hospice of Guymon. Memorials will be accepted at the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home, PO Box 1112, Guymon, OK 73942.
