Juana Carpio, 53, formerly of Guymon passed away Wednesday morning, February 7, 2024 at South Central Kansas Medical Center in Arkansas City, Kansas.

The daughter of Ramon Carpio and Josefina Bueno, she was born December 8, 1970 in Juarez, Mexico.

Juana attended Bowie High School in El Paso, Texas, graduating with the Class of 1989, she then attended two years of college at UTEP in El Paso.  Juana made her home in Guymon from 1992 to 2001, she moved to Arkansas City, Kansas in 2003. She was a member of Ebenezer Church of Christ Salem in Wichita, Kansas.

She is survived by one daughter, Natalie Carpio of Arkansas City, Kansas, two sisters, Maribel and husband, Moises Avalos of Guymon, and Karina Cervantes and husband, Fernando of Guymon, one brother, Jose Carpio and wife, Tabitha of Guymon, survivors also include several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday February 11th between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. at Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be Monday morning, February 12th at 11:00 a.m. at Connection Church with Moises Avalos and Pastor Refugio Villa officiating.  Interment will follow in the Elmhurst Cemetery.
