Jonathan Robert Montgomery, 43, of Guymon, passed away Tuesday morning, March 4, 2025 at the Memorial Hospital of Texas County.

The son of Burl Joe and Victoria (Escobedo) Montgomery he was born October 17, 1981 in Amarillo, Texas.

Jonathan attended school in Hereford, Texas graduating with the Class of 2000.  He moved to Guymon from Portales, New Mexico in 2015, and worked as a cook for several local businesses.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Montgomery and his grandparents.  Survivors include his mother, Vickie Montgomery of Guymon and one sister, Laura Montgomery of Amarillo, Texas, nieces and nephews, Faith Montgomery of Salt Lake City, Utah, William Galvan, Jr. and Maximo Galvan both of Canyon, Texas.  Survivors also include aunts and uncles, Albert Escobedo, Jr., Abraham Escobedo, Amelia Soltero, Ramona Guerra, Ida Liza Escobedo, Margarita Tamez and Christina Escobedo, and one great niece, Anastasia Almaguer, and numerous cousins.

Memorials services will be conducted Sunday afternoon, March 16th at 2:00 p.m. at Bunch - Roberts Funeral Home with Rev. Odie Nunley officiating.
