Obituary

Jimmy Ray "Jim" Bledsoe, 82, long-time Hooker resident, passed away Tuesday afternoon, December 12, 2023 at Good Samaritan Society in Liberal, Kansas.

The son of Pleasant Leland and Juanita Loretta (Schwenke) Bledsoe, he was born March 23, 1941 in Hooker.  Jim attended school in Pampa, Texas, graduating with the class of 1959.

Jim and Carol (Weiss) Lambley were married at Hooker in March of 1991.  Jim served as a supervisor with Tri County Electric, retiring in 2003.  He was a member of the Hooker Wesleyan Methodist Church and a past member of the Guymon Elk's Lodge.

He is preceded  by  his parents, two sons, Mike and Charles Bledsoe and one sister, Billie Ann Harris.

Survivors include his wife, Carol of the home, two sons, John Lambley and Mike Lambley and wife, Mignon all of Hooker, two sisters, Rosie Kirby of White Deer, Texas and Shari Gail Finn of Trinity, Texas, and seven grandchildren.

Graveside inurnment will be Saturday afternoon, March 23, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in the Hooker Cemetery, Hooker, Oklahoma.
