Jesus "Jesse" Gonzales was born to Guadalupe and Dominga (Aguilar) Gonzales in Boise City, Oklahoma on February 25, 1966, and went to be with our Heavenly Father on December 19, 2021 at the age of 55.

Jesse attended school in Boise City, OK and graduated with the Class of 1984.  He participated in football, basketball and track, and was crowned basketball king in 1983.  He enjoyed collecting antiques, attending concerts and visiting with family.  His favorite pastimes were his many friends and bringing smiles and laughter to each and every one!  He spent his days working construction, loved pizza and steak, cruising and enjoying life to the fullest – there was no tomorrow!

Jesse was preceded in death by his father, Guadalupe; his sister, Yolanda; his brother, George; maternal grandparents, Manuel and Felipa Aguilar; paternal grandparents, Victor and Manuela Alvear; and several aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews and cousins.

He is survived by his mother, Dominga Gonzales of Guymon; his son, Jesse, Jr. of Guymon and his daughter, Yolanda of Amarillo; two sisters: Anna Engel-Jones and husband, Michael of Woodward, OK and Elizabeth Gilkey of Hooker, OK; two brothers: Guadalupe, Jr. and wife, Trish of Dallas, TX and Vic Perez of Guymon; two aunts: Dora Cardona of Amarillo, TX and Mary and husband, Charles Martinez of Guymon; along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will greet friends at the Bunch -  Roberts Funeral Home of Sunday, December 26 ^th from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.  Funeral services will be conducted Monday afternoon, December 27 ^th at 2:00 p.m. at the Boise City First Baptist Church, 103 Cimarron Ave., with Pastor Trevor Bulls officiating.  Interment will follow at the Boise City Cemetery.  Services are under the care of the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon.
