Jerry T. Campbell, 76, of Guymon passed away Sunday morning, June 4, 2017 at the Northwest Texas Hospital in Amarillo, Texas.

The son of Theodore Campbell and Wanda Mae Baird, he was born July 7, 1940. Jerry was raised in Hobbs, New Mexico, where he attended and graduated from the Hobbs school system.

Jerry and his family moved to Guymon in 1968 from Hobbs. He worked in sales for Stanfield Printing Company for 40 years.

Jerry and Kris Brown were united in marriage on December 11, 1981 at the Sunset Lane Baptist Church in Guymon. Jerry was a member of Sunset Lane Baptist Church and was a very talented artist in chalk art and woodworking. He also had a great love for cars, especially Mustangs, as well as camping and boating.

He was preceded in death by his parents; step-father, Frank Baird; two sisters, Margie Brown and Mary Ann Guidish; and his daughter, Tammie Cheryl Campbell on June 7, 1976.

Survivors include his loving wife of over 35 years, Kris Campbell of the home; five children: Connie Black and husband, Tim of Chickasha, Oklahoma, Joanie Romero and husband, Roy of Dalhart, Texas, Jerilyn Carey and husband, Josh of Edmond, Oklahoma, Mark Collins and wife, Karrie of Edmond, Oklahoma and Julie Maytum and husband, Wayne of Guymon; 21 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; one sister, Francis Jenkins of Lovington, New Mexico and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday afternoon, June 7th at 3:00 p.m. at the Sunset Lane Baptist Church with Pastor David Moore officiating. Interment will follow at the Elmhurst Cemetery in Guymon. Services are under the care of the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon.
