Jennifer Dee Barthel Dominguez, 53, of Guymon passed away early Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at BSA Hospital in Amarillo, Texas surrounded by family and loved ones.

The daughter of Martin R. and Fern E. (Pafford) Barthel, Jennifer was born June 2, 1973 in Glendive, Montana.  Following the death of her father, the family moved to Guymon in 1979 where she attended the Guymon school system.  Jennifer also attended the Oklahoma Panhandle State University nursing program.

Jennifer had a huge heart for animals and loved spending time with her furbabies.  She also had a great love for gardening – raising vegetables and flowers.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Fern Barthel; grandparents, Clinton and Mildred Pafford; and infant child, Baby D.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Dominguez of the home in Guymon; two daughters: Alexis N. Purcell and husband, C.J. of Newark Valley, New York and Holly C. Wilson and husband, Ray of Keyes, Oklahoma; one son, Trey A. Dominguez of Guymon; her beloved grandchildren: Elaina, Rebekah, Guy, Stevie and Ethan; one sister, Heather Barthel of Amarillo, Texas; one brother, Todd Barthel of San Angelo, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

A celebration of Jennifer's life will be held Saturday afternoon, June 13th at 2:00 p.m. at the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home with Rev. Odie Nunley officiating.
