Jay Perrin, 51, of Guymon passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at his home.
The son of Linda Jo (Kneeland) and Albert J. Perrin, Jr., Harlan Jay Perrin was born April 14, 1971 in Honolulu, Hawaii. The family returned to Guymon from Guam in December 1972, where Jay was raised and attended school.
Following school, Jay moved to Tulsa and then to Texas for several years. In November of 2019, he moved back to Guymon from east Texas. He loved spending his time fishing. He also enjoyed leatherworking, making jewelry and painting ceramics – he had a very unique eye for colors in his painting. He was a member of the Guymon Church of the Nazarene.
Jay was preceded in death by a daughter, Kaylona Hope Perrin; his brother, Ken D. Perrin; his father, Albert J. Perrin, Jr.; and his grandparents: Everett & Faye Kneeland and Albert & Wilma Perrin.
Survivors include his parents, Linda and John O'Leary of Guymon and one daughter, Hannah Perrin of Sand Springs, Oklahoma.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday morning, July 19th at 10:00 a.m. at the Guymon Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Michael Carter, pastor of the Guymon First Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow at the Elmhurst Cemetery in Guymon.
Memorials in memory of Jay can be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Alzheimer's Association and will be accepted at the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home, PO Box 1112, Guymon, OK 73942.
