Jamie Lynn Burden went to be with her lord and savior on Friday, August 14, 2026. Jamie was born in Laverne, Oklahoma, on September 8, 1969, to Fred and Trisha Jordan.
Jamie met the love of her life, Ed Burden, on May 18, 1989. They were married on August 7, 1989.Together, they built an incredible life filled with love, laughter, family, and countless memories. Their son, Bryce, was born on August 28, 1990. On January 24, 1997, Jamie’s life dream came true when they welcomed twin daughters, Dakota and Jordan.
Jamie became a grandmother on June 28, 2023, when her beautiful granddaughter, Shevin, was born. Her family was her greatest joy. She devoted her life to caring for those she loved and creating a warm and loving home for her children. Her greatest calling was being a wife and mother, and she embraced that role with her whole heart. Becoming a grandmother brought her another kind of joy, and her precious granddaughter, Shevin, quickly became one of the brightest lights in her life.
Jamie loved crafting with her twin daughters and taking long road trips with Ed in her corvette. Together, they traveled thousands of miles, collecting memories and smiles along the way. They made it to the Canadian border twice, the gulf coast once, and the east coast once. For Jamie, the destination was never the most important part—it was the time spent together along the way.
Jamie was preceded in death by her PaPa Buddy Ingram; her granddad, Fred Jordan; her grandmother, Margaret Jordan; and her father-in-law, Terry Burden.
She is survived by her loving husband, Ed Burden; her son, Bryce Burden, and his girlfriend, Courtney; her daughter, Dakota Hogan; her daughter, Jordan Freeman, and son-in-law, Grant Freeman; her precious granddaughter, Shevin Freeman; her father, Fred Jordan; her mother, Trisha Hester, and stepfather, Larry Hester; her grandmother, Margie Brace; her aunt Vicki; aunt Sherry and uncle Ronnie; aunt Carolyn and uncle Dennis; along with several cousins. Jamie will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her love, laughter, and the memories she created with her family will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
