James Edward Livingston, 76, lifelong Hugoton, KS resident, passed away Friday evening, December 10, 2021 at Via Christi St. Francis Hospital in Wichita, KS.

James was born June 12, 1945 in Sayre, OK to Fred Parker Livingston III and Ernestine H. Brecheisen. At an early age, James and his family moved to Hugoton where he attended school graduating in 1964.

James enlisted in the Army in 1966 and served until 1968. He married the love of his life, Donna Dee Fail August 9, 1969 in Dodge City, KS. They made their home in Hugoton. Donna preceded him in death September 23, 2014.

James was a lifetime farmer. He enjoyed making the rounds at all the local car shows. He enjoyed spending time with family and especially spending time with his grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife Donna, his father Fred Parker Livingston III, his mother Ernestine H. Brecheisen, stepfather Charles Brecheisen, his grandmother (Mom) Mattie Beatrice Colburn, nephew Chad Frank and nephew Breck Starr.

Survivors include his daughter, Denese Yancey and husband Clayton of Guymon, OK; three grandchildren: Colton Yancey and wife, Mary of Tyrone, OK, Payton Yancey of Liberal, KS, and Haley Yancey of Guymon, OK; and his sister, Cathy Starr and husband Bill of Republic, MO, and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services with military honors will be conducted Saturday morning, December 18th at 11 a.m. at the Hugoton Cemetery with Pastor David Player, Victory Memorial United Methodist Church officiating.

Visitation will be Friday, December 17th between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. at the Bunch - Roberts Funeral Home Guymon, Oklahoma. Friends can sign the online guestbook and leave condolences at www.bunchroberts.com .
