Attorney-at-Law, Mr. James Richard Fletcher, 78, passed away Sunday morning, March 24, 2024, at the Northwest Texas Hospital in Amarillo, Texas.

The son of Eunice and Helen Wauleua (Lomon) Fletcher, he was born March 9, 1946, in Webbers Falls, Oklahoma.  Jim graduated from Tulsa Central High School in 1964, obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, served a stint in the US Army, and obtained his Juris Doctor in 1975 from the University of Oklahoma in Norman.

Jim and Deborah Ann Privett were united in marriage on June 12, 1971, in Pawnee, Oklahoma.  They moved to Guymon from Norman and started his law practice.

He is preceded in death by his parents.  Survivors include his wife, Debi of the home; one sister, Wauleua Fletcher of Tulsa, OK; sister-in-law, Patricia Koonce and husband, Barry of Norman, OK; and brother-in-law, Nick Privett and wife, Tracy of Edmond, OK.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday afternoon, April 2nd at 2:00 p.m. at the Victory Memorial Methodist Church in Guymon with Pastor David Player officiating.  Interment will follow in the Elmhurst Cemetery.

Viewing will be Monday, April 1st between the hours of 2:00 and 6:00 p.m. at the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home.
