James Dennis "Jim" Smith, 79, passed away early Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at his home in Guymon.

The son of Elmer and Thelma (Morrow) Smith, Jim was born November 4, 1942 in San Luis Obispo, California.  He attended school in California.

Jim was united in marriage to Juvelyn Mama on December 2, 2012 in Amarillo, Texas.  They moved to Guymon in 2013.  Jim worked as a truck driver for Seaboard retiring in 2016 at the age of 73.

Jim was a member of Connection Church.  He was a member and sponsor of AA and recently received his forty year coin.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Juvelyn Smith and one daughter, Natalie Jane Smith of the home.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday afternoon, September 8 ^th at 2:00 p.m. at the Bunch – Roberts Chapel.  Interment will follow at the Elmhurst Cemetery.
