James Edwin Cline, Sr., 74, of Optima, Oklahoma, passed away Thursday morning, July 7, 2022 at his home.

The son of Joseph Edward and Mary Lee (Johnson) Cline, he was born February 26, 1948 in Kilgore, Texas. James worked in the oil field the majority of his working life.

He moved to Optima from El Paso, Texas in 2017, to be with his niece, DeAnne LeBrun.

He is survived by one son, James Cline, Jr. of Kilgore, Texas and special niece, DeAnne LeBrun and husband, Ruben Ruiz of Optima.
