Jack Lee Livesay, 87, lifelong panhandle resident, passed away Saturday, December 30, 2023 at the Baptist St. Anthony's Hospital in Amarillo, Texas.

The son of Sidney and Louise (Loomis) Livesay, he was born December 24, 1936 in Hooker, Oklahoma. Jack attended school in Hooker, and served in the US Navy.  He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Hooker, Hooker VFW and Guymon Elk's Lodge.

Jack owned Red Neck Oil Field Service for several years and This-N-That Guns and Stuff in Hooker since 2009.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Sidney and Louise Livesay, brother, Dean Livesay, step-brother, Clyde McCord and grandson, Luke Bradley Livesay.

Survivors include his wife of ten years, Ida Wester of the home, two sons, Michael Livesay and wife, Michele of Norman, OK, and Jack Lee Livesay, Jr. and wife, Kim of Hooker, OK.  Survivors also include seven grandchildren, Madison and wife, Natasha, Tim and wife, Laci, Darius and wife, Brooke, Braxton and wife, Diamonde, Jason and wife, Arika and Jacob and wife, Ashlie and Mark, 15 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jack also was involved in trap shooting, and when his two sons were in school hardly ever missed one of their games.  Jack was very proud of his sons achievements and even following the achievements of his grandsons, great grandsons and two great granddaughters.

Funeral services will be Wednesday morning, January 3, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Bunch – Roberts Chapel with Rev. Thomas House and Rev. Patrick Estrada officiating.  Family interment will be in the Hooker Cemetery.

Family visitation will be Tuesday evening, January 2nd between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. at Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home.
