John Stanley "Jack" Blehm, Jr., 92, of Guymon passed away Saturday, February 26, 2022 at the Ussery-Roan Texas State Veterans Home in Amarillo, Texas.
The son of John Stanley and Pauline (Miller) Blehm, Jack was born May 5, 1929 in El Dorado, Kansas. He graduated from Ellinwood, Kansas high school with the Class of 1947 and then attended Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas. Jack served his country in the U.S. Army as a rifleman in the 25th Infantry Division, 27th Regiment (Wolfhounds) in Korea and then served 24 years in the U.S. Army Reserves, retiring as Sergeant Major. He was employed with Mobil Oil as computer operator for 36 years, retiring in 1990.
Jack and Willadean Stephens were united in marriage on August 27, 1959 in Plainville, Kansas. Together they raised their family of five children: Paula, John, Joseph, Janel and James. They moved to Guymon in 1985 from Denver, Colorado. Jack and Susan (April) Wieditz were united in marriage on July 25, 2015 in Guymon, Oklahoma. They attended the Victory Memorial United Methodist Church. Jack was a 70 year Master Mason, Hoisington, KS #331.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Willadean, and by his parents; two sons: John Stanley Blehm, III and Joseph Stephen Blehm; and two sisters: Donna Adams and Beverly Zimmerman, a brother-in-law, Edward April and a sister-in-law, Lorraine Whitehouse.
Survivors include his loving wife, Susan Blehm of the home in Guymon; two daughters: Paula Ann Yandle and husband, James of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Janel Suzanne Bowers and husband, Robert of Denver, Colorado; one son, James Dean Blehm and Sue Peterson of Maplewood, Minnesota; grandchildren: Jessica and husband Mike Rockholt, Sarah Yandle, Keelie Hoffman, Alexandra Peterson and fiance Billy Welch, Alexia Peterson and three great grandchildren, Aviana, Zoie, and Linkin Rockholt.
He is also survived by adoring step children: two step daughters, Amy Bacis and husband Joe, April Kim and husband Son, two step sons Charles Carpenter and Christine McMurry, Chris and Christi Forsha. Seven loving step grandchildren Sean and Dakota Kim, Hannah and Jack Bacis, Kennedy Carpenter, Shelby and husband Chris Miller and Sarah Forsha and fiance Christian Remirez.
Family visitation will be Thursday, March 3rd between the hours of 5:00 and 7:00 p.m. at the Bunch - Roberts Funeral Home. Funeral services with Masonic Rites will be conducted Friday, March 4th at 2:00 p.m. at the Victory Memorial United Methodist Church in Guymon with Rev. David Player officiating. Graveside services with US Army Honors will be conducted Saturday, March 5th at 3:00 p.m. at the Kolb Cemetery in Spencer, Oklahoma. Services are under the care of the Bunch - Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon.
Memorials in memory of Jack may be given to Ussery-Roan Texas State Veterans Home or the Medical Center League House in Amarillo. Memorials will be accepted at the Bunch - Roberts Funeral Home, P.O.
