Herlinda Cerda de Esquivel, 83, passed away Friday morning, September 15, 2023 at the Memorial Hospital of Texas County.

The daughter of Hexiquio Cerda and Manuela Rivera, she was born March 23, 1940 in Durango Mexico.

She was united in marriage to Heliodoro Esquivel on February 16, 1955 in Durango.  They moved to Guymon from Durango in 2000.  He preceded her in death on April 17, 2010.  She is also preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.

Survivors include three daughters, Armandina Esquivel, Lucia Esquivel and Rosalba Esquivel all of Guymon; five sons, Gerardo Esquivel of California, Otilio Esquivel of Guymon, Otilio Esquivel of California, Emiliano Esquivel and Ramiro Esquivel both of Guymon.  Survivors also include two brothers, Armando Cerda and Abraham Amador and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great great grandson.

Visitation will be Monday, September 18th between the hours of 3:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the El Gran Yo Soy Church at 801 N. Roosevelt.  Funeral services will be Tuesday September 19th at 2:00 p.m. at the El Gran Yo Soy Church with Pastor Omar Mijares officiating.  Interment will follow in the Elmhurst Cemetery, services are under the care of the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home.
