Harland Dryden "Hardy" Collins, 73, passed away Friday, May 9, 2025, in Oklahoma City, OK.

Services will be on Friday, May 16th at 2:00 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Guymon with Pastor Minwoo Kim and Clark Jett officiating.

Hardy was born May 21, 1951, in College Station, TX to Harland and Peggy Collins. He moved with his family to Guymon, OK in 1965 and graduated from Guymon High School with the class of 1969. He attended Oklahoma State University where he played basketball for the Cowboys. He graduated from OSU in 1973 and remained a lifelong OSU fan and supporter.

The foundation of his faith began at the First Presbyterian Church of Guymon where his father served as the minister for 27 years. Hardy wholeheartedly believed in "love and forgive" and embodied that mindset by loving and forgiving all people in all circumstances. He chose to look on the bright side of every situation and made certain that others did the same. He spent most of his professional career owning and operating Collins Supply and Print Solutions.

He was the proud father to Danielle, Kaela, and Tony, but his true pride and joy were his granddaughters Janet, Adelina, and Izabella.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Harland Collins; his mother, Peggy Jean Collins; a brother, David Burrell Collins.

Survivors include daughters, Danielle Strain and her husband Jake, and Kaela Collins; a son, Tony Collins and wife Mercedez; granddaughters, Janet Collins, Adelina Collins, and Izabella Collins; brother, Edward Collins; sister, Amy Schneiderman; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
