Glynn Allen Harmon, 63, of Guymon, passed away Saturday, July 9th, 2016 at his home.
The son of Kermit Keith and Ruby Pearl (Miller) Harmon, he was born August 1, 1952 in Bainbridge, Georgia. The family moved to Guymon from Bainbridge in 1967.
Glynn owned and operated G&G Sand and Gravel Company in Guymon from 1988 until 2004. He was a past member of the Guymon Elk's Lodge and a member of the NRA.
He was united in marriage to Edith Seymour on December 24, 1973 in Dumas, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Mary Chason, brother, Keith Harmon, sister-in-law, Sharon Seymour, nieces, Angela Seymour and Bailey Seymour and nephews, Dewayne Maxwell, Clifford Ron Seymour and Landon Hopper Edwards.
Survivors include his wife, Edith Harmon of the home; two daughters: Jeannie Adams and husband, Greg of Hooker and Shelly Harmon of Guymon; three sons: Robert Harmon and wife, Ginna of Edmond, Oklahoma, Clifford Joe Harmon of Hooker, and Scott Moore of Guymon. Survivors also include nine grandchildren: Toby Adams, Kyle Osborn, Rubye Adams, Danielle Fisher, Kian Pope, Kambree Harmon, Julia Harmon, Raelynn Harmon and Rebecca Harmon; one great grandson, Tristan Adams; four sisters: Gwen Kitch of Arkansas, Claire Lagesse and husband, Ray of Macomn, Georgia, Beth Boyd and husband, Jimmy of Brinson, Georgia, Era Dann and husband, Keith of Geneva, Florida; his best friend, Charlie Ritter of Arkansas; brothers-in-law, Cliff Seymour and wife, Shirley of Guymon, Bill Seymour and wife, Carla of Guymon, Glen Seymour of Vinita, Oklahoma, David Eastland of La Junta, Colorado, Paul Eastland and wife, Carolyn of Wichita, Kansas, along with a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday afternoon, July 13th at 2:00 p.m. at the Bunch - Roberts Chapel with Brother Steve Robinson officiating. Family inurnment will be at a later date in the Elmhurst Cemetery. Services are under the care of the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon.
