Glen Ray Kingsland, 60, lifelong area resident passed away Monday, November 3, 2025 at his home in Hooker, Oklahoma.
The son of Billy Wayne and Velma Irene (Comer) Kingsland, he was born May 1, 1965 in Borger, Texas. Glen attended the Guymon school system, graduating from Guymon High School in 1983.
Glen worked as a painter and musician. He attended the School for the Recording Arts in Chillicothe, Ohio. He had attended the First Christian Church in Hooker.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Kingsland and stepfather, Roy Lee Smothermon.
Survivors include his mother, Velma Kingsland Smothermon of Hooker; two brothers, Mike and Sue Kingsland of Guymon and Pat Kingsland of San Diego, California; one sister, Penny Kay Hawkins of Cabot, Arkansas; along with nieces, nephews and other extended family.
The family will greet friends at the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home in Guymon on Thursday evening, November 6th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Graveside funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon, November 7th at 2:00 p.m. at the Elmhurst Cemetery in Guymon with Pastor Tina Rickman officiating.
Memorials in memory of Glen can be made to the Hooker Food Pantry. Memorials will be accepted at the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home, PO Box 1112, Guymon, OK 73942.
