George Raymond Darrell "Buddy" King, Jr., 59, lifelong Texhoma resident, passed away early Thursday morning, June 18, 2020 at his home.

Buddy was born September 7, 1960 in El Paso, Texas, the son of George Raymond Darrell and Imogene Zuane (Curtiss) King.

Buddy attended school in Texhoma, graduating with the Class of 1979. He was married to Lynne Randolph on August 21, 1982 in Texhoma. He and Lynne attended the First Christian Church. Buddy was a cattle hauler the majority of his working life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Imogene King and sister, Vickie Theis.

Survivors include his wife, Lynne King of the home; two daughters, Shawna King of Texhoma and Nicole King of Orlando, Florida; two grandchildren, Jade and Parker Rasberry of Texhoma; three siblings: Diane Maples-Kimberling and husband, Charles of Lone Oak, Texas, Gabby King of Visalia, California and Jean King and wife, Susan of Lubbock, Texas, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday afternoon, June 24th at 2:00 p.m. at the Texhoma First Christian Church with Pastor Matt Maples officiating. Interment will follow at the Texhoma Cemetery, Texhoma, Texas. Services are under the care of the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon.

The King family will greet friends Tuesday June 23rd between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. at the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home.
