Fredrick Michael Tuttle, 64, lifelong Panhandle resident, passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at his home in Guymon.

The son of John C. and Emogene Katherine "Slokey" Tuttle, he was born June 3, 1956 in Guymon, Oklahoma.  Fred attended Guymon school system, graduating with the Class of 1974.  He then attended Oklahoma Panhandle State University in Goodwell, graduating with a bachelor degree in education.

Fred taught science in both Liberal, Kansas and Hooker, Oklahoma.  He was an avid fisherman, and member of the Straight Rod & Reel Club.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Slokey Tuttle, and an infant son, Jeremy Michael Tuttle.

Survivors include two children: Katy George and husband, Derek of Spearman, Texas and Josh Tuttle and wife, Jessica of Newnan, Georgia; four grandchildren: Brynlee, Bryson and Hannah George and Elliott Tuttle.  Survivors also include seven siblings: Connie Conner and husband, Robert of Enid, Oklahoma, Dottie Post and husband, Bob of San Diego, California, John Tuttle and wife, Jennifer of Guymon, Steve Tuttle and wife, Rita of Guymon, Sara Khammash and husband, Hassan of Arlington, Texas, Martha Bledsoe and husband, Rick of Guymon, and Bill Tuttle also of Guymon.

Memorial services will be conducted Tuesday afternoon, May 25 ^th at 2:00 p.m. at the Bunch – Roberts Chapel with Pastor Mark Murray of the Union Church in Spearman, TX officiating.  Memorials in lieu of flowers may be given to the Straight Rod & Reel Club.  Memorials will be accepted at the Bunch – Robert Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1112, Guymon, Oklahoma 73942.
