Obituary

Fred Robert Hough, Jr., 71 of Guymon, passed away Saturday evening, December 28, 2024 at the Memorial Hospital of Texas County.

The son of Fred Robert and Barbara Jean (Bodine) Hough, he was born April 17, 1953 in Los Angeles, California.

Fred moved to Guymon from Los Angeles in 1991. He served in the US Marines in Vietnam, and was a member of the Victory Center Church.  Fred was a Master Plumber, and owned an operated Superior Plumbing in Guymon for fourteen years.

He was united in marriage to Mary (Quesenbury) Mays on May 30, 1993 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Fred is preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Barbara Hough, sister, Linda and brother-in-law, Ernest Moore..

Survivors include his wife, Mary of the home, three step-children: Leanne Johnson of Texas, William Mays and wife, Crystal of Hardesty, and Casey Lee Mays also of Hardesty; five grandchildren: David, Brad, Amber, Jaylee, and Justin ; nine great grandchildren, sister, Lisa Vovar of California, brother, Fred Robert Hough, III of Louisiana, cousin Angelo Riccio of Guymon, and aunt & Uncle, John and Sherry Riccio of Las Vegas, Nevada.

Funeral services will be Thursday afternoon, January 2, 2025 at 1:00  p.m. at Victory Center Church with Terry Grice officiating.  Interment with Military Honors will follow in the Elmhurst Cemetery.
