Francisco Vazquez Torres, 64, of Guymon passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at the Memorial Hospital of Texas County.

The son of Francisco Vazquez Ochoa and Antonia Torres Arevalo, he was born March 28, 1956 in San Juan Del Rio, Durango, Mexico.

Francisco and Elizabeth Cano were united in marriage on December 16, 1992.  The family moved to Guymon from El Paso in 1998.  Mr. Vazquez had worked in the livestock farms for Seaboard Foods.  He was a member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth; one son, Francisco Vazquez; two daughters, Aurora Guadalupe Vazquez and Elizabeth Marie Vazquez, all of Guymon; and five sisters:  Maria Alicia Vazquez Torres, Gabina Vazquez Torres, Maria de la Paz Vazquez Torres, Maria Ofelia Vazquez Torres and Ma. Elodia Vazquez Torres, all of Mexico.

Rosary will be recited Friday evening, December 4 ^th at 8:00 p.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church.  A funeral mass will be conducted Saturday morning, December 5 ^th at 11:00 a.m. also at St. Peter's with Father Christopher Brashears, celebrant.  Interment will follow at the Elmhurst Cemetery.  Services are under the care of the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon.
