Obituary

Eva Mussman, 61, lifelong Guymon resident passed away Thursday, July 28, 2016 at the Northwest Texas Heart Hospital in Amarillo, Texas

The daughter of Robert Ramon and Alice Elizabeth (Barnwell) Shook, Eva Elizabeth was born January 4, 1955 in Amarillo, Texas.

Eva attended Guymon schools, graduating with the GHS Class of 1973. She and Harold Ray Mussman were united in marriage on June 9, 1972 in Guymon.

Eva was a devoted homemaker and had worked as a Texas County Free Fair Coordinator for the past 15 years. She was also a Boy and Girl Scout Leader and received the Silver Beaver Award from the Boy Scouts in 1997.

She was preceded in death by her parents; infant daughter, Heidi Dapheen Mussman on January 9, 1980; brother, George Webster and sister, Shirley Sue Christian.

Eva is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Harold Mussman of the home; one daughter, Helen and husband, Steve Foster of Haven, Kansas; one son, Jasper Thomas Mussman of Guymon; and four grandchildren: Samantha Foster, Jordan Foster, Derrick Hull and Heidi Foster.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday afternoon, August 1st at 2:00 p.m. at the Grace Southern Baptist Church with Pastor Tom Freeman officiating. A private family burial service will be at the Elmhurst Cemetery at a later date. Services are under the care of the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon.

The Mussman family suggests that memorials in Eva's name be made to Guymon Boy Scouts of America or to the American Diabetes Association. Memorials will be accepted at the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home, PO Box 1112, Guymon, OK 73942.
