Eula Faye Lewis, longtime Guymon resident, passed away on Tuesday February 7, 2023 at the age of 100 and ½ years at Brookdale Assisted Living in Amarillo, Texas where she had been residing since 2015.

Eula Faye was born in Woods County, Oklahoma on August 13, 1922 to Otis and Anna Smith.  She graduated from Carmen High School.

She was married to Raymond C. Lewis on May 22, 1957.  To this union was born Jeffery Todd Lewis who was adored by his older siblings,, Terry and Cheri Schoonover.

Eula Faye worked many years at Medical Arts Clinic in Guymon and she was a member of Sunset Lane Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, and three brothers, grandson, Brent Schoonover, and by her husband, Raymond and her son Todd.

Survivors include her son, Terry Schoonover and wife, Barbara of Folsom, NM, her daughter, Cheri Harrington of Amarillo, Texas, her grandchildren, Brady Schoonover of Kerrick, Texas, Mike Schoonover of Houston, Texas, Brenna Payne and husband, Kevin and Brandi Sutter and husband, Austin all of Amarillo, and by ten great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

Graveside services honoring Eula Faye Lewis be Saturday afternoon, June 17th at 4:00 p.m. in the Elmhurst Cemetery, Guymon, Oklahoma.
