Enrique Alvidrez Herrera, 82, passed away Monday morning, November 30, 2020 at his home in Guymon, surrounded by his family.

The son of Adrian Alvidrez Ponce and Maria de Jesus Herrera Maya, he was born November 24, 1938 in Chihuahua, Mexico.

Enrique was united in marriage to Sodelva Garcia on February 13, 1966 in Meoqui, Chihuahua, Mexico.  Mr. Alvidrez worked as a cattle rancher.  They moved to Guymon from Mexico in October of 1995.  He had worked for Seaboard Foods in production and was a member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife, Sodelva Alvidrez of the home; two sons: Enrique Alvidrez and wife, Martha of Guymon and Adrian Alvidrez and wife, Elvira of Mexico; two daughters, Patricia Guerrero and husband, Armando of Guymon and Dorely De La Garza and husband, Jose all of Guymon; twelve grandchildren: Bris, Edwin, Fernando, Jennifer, Jarely, Anaiz, Enrique, Melany, Eric, Adriana, Adrian and Jose; eight great grandchildren: Sophia, Santiago, Jaedyn, Kaalani, Josaely, Raiden, Mateo and Isai; four sisters: Romelia, Olga, Elizabeth and Arcelia; and one brother, Alvaro.

Rosary will be recited Wednesday evening, December 2 ^nd at 8:00 p.m. at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church.  Funeral Mass will be held Thursday morning, December 3 ^rd at 11:00 a.m., also at St. Peter's with Father Jerome Krug, celebrant.  Interment will follow at the Elmhurst Cemetery.  Services are under the care of the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon.
