Elwin Burrow, 73, longtime area resident passed away Saturday evening, February 12, 2022 at the OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

The son of John Herschel and Kathleen (McDonald) Burrow, Charles Elwin was born October 26, 1948 in Boise City, Oklahoma.  He lived in Griggs, Keyes, Boise City, Texhoma, Dalhart and Clovis, before the family settled in Texhoma.  He then moved to Guymon in 2005 following the death of his mother.

Elwin worked for 50 years as a Mason Shoe Salesman.  He was raised in the Foursquare Church and was saved in the Guymon church.  Elwin didn't know a stranger and was willing to share anything he had to help someone else.  He loved to visit and his caring spirit would always remember dates, just to make you feel special.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Darryl Dean Burrow.

Survivors include one brother, Norman Burrow of Guymon and one sister, LaVonna Noland of Amarillo; two nieces LaReca Noland and Shelly Jines; and four great nephews and nieces.

Memorial services will be conducted Saturday afternoon, February 26 ^th at 1:00 p.m. at the Bunch – Roberts Chapel with Pastor Tim Brittain officiating.  Inurnment will follow at the Marella Cemetery in the Griggs Community.  Services are under the care of the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon.
