Elmer Daniel David, 84, lifelong Guymon resident, passed away Saturday morning, June 21, 2025 at the Hansford Manor in Spearman, Texas.

The son of Vernon Edward and Elizabeth Ella (Barrick) David he was born in Guymon on October 13, 1940.

Elmer and Juanice Rowell were united in marriage on September 3, 1966 in Guymon.  Elmer attended school in Guymon, and dental training at the Norman Technology Center in Norman, Oklahoma.  Elmer had worked as an automobile mechanic and thirty years as dental technician in Guymon.  He was an active member of the Guymon First Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Elizabeth David, two sisters, Mary and Ida, two brothers, Ed and Tom and two grandchildren, Kayleigh and Danny.

Survivors include his wife, Juanice of the home, four daughters, Christy Webster of Guymon, Kathleen Cross and husband, Jimmy of Live Oak, Florida, Melissa Hittle and husband, Chris of Pratt, Kansas and Kimberly Cullum and husband, James of Sedan, New Mexico.  Survivors also include ten grandchildren: Kory, Kelsi, James, Monica, Bailey, Jake, Amanda, Kaysie, Tyler and Angelique, twenty great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.

Memorial services will be conducted Wednesday afternoon, June 25th at 2:00 p.m. at the Guymon First Baptist Church with Pastor Michael Carter officiating.
