Edwin Josue Martinez, 28, of Guymon, passed away Wednesday morning, April 22, 2020 at the Southwest Medical Center in Liberal, Kansas.

He was born February 16, 1992 in Orange County, California. The family moved to Texhoma from California in 1998. Edwin attended school in Texhoma, graduating with the Texhoma High School. He was a member of the Central Christian Church in Tyrone, Oklahoma.

Edwin is survived by his parents, George and Margarita Johnson of Texhoma, his father, Edwin R. Martinez of El Salvador, four brothers, Bryan Martinez of Guymon, Jason Martinez of San Diego, California, Marion Johnson of Texhoma and George Johnson II of Texhoma, and his grandmother, Pat Johnson of Texhoma.

Graveside services will be Tuesday, April 28th at 2:00 p.m. in the Texhoma Cemetery with Pastor Mario Loredo officiating. Services are under the care of the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon.

Visitation will be Sunday, April 26th and Monday, April 27th between the hours of 2:00 and 5:00 p.m. at the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home.
