Ed Hoeffner, 54, lifelong area resident passed away early Monday, June 1, 2020 at the Northwest Texas Hospital in Amarillo from injuries sustained in an accident.

The son of Daniel Lewis Hoeffner and Karen Kay Ownbey, he was born June 5, 1965 in Lubbock, Texas. Ed graduated from Guymon High School with the Class of 1983.

Ed worked as a plant operator and field technician at DCP Midstream for the past 19 years. He was an active member of Connection Church, where he was known to always have a piece of gum and a hug for anyone. Ed was also an active member of the Priesthood No Man's Land Chapter motorcycle club and the Point Rock Riders.

He was preceded in death by his parents; step-mother, Sue Hoeffner; step-brother, Jeff Schutt and brother-in-law, Billy Robinson.

Survivors include his two daughters: Shanna Walle and husband, Karel of Lubbock, Texas and Natasha Fitzgerald and husband, Weston of Eva, Oklahoma and his four grandchildren: Arille, Kennley and Lennox Walle and Lincoln Fitzgerald. Ed is also survived by two sisters: Sheryn Wells and husband, J.R. of San Antonio, Texas and Dana Strickland and husband, Todd of Turpin, Oklahoma; one brother, Michael Hoeffner of Wichita, Kansas; step-brother, Kurt Schutt and wife, Denise of Broomfield, Colorado; step-sister, Tina Anthony and husband, Stacy of Memphis, Tennessee along with many special nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be conducted Tuesday afternoon, June 9th at 2:00 p.m. at Connection Church, 1901 N. Lelia in Guymon, with Pastor Dallas McGlasson officiating. The services will also be livestreamed on Connection's Facebook page at www.facebook.com/connection4square.

The Hoeffner family will greet friends at the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home of Monday evening, June 8th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
