Donna Kippenberger, 75, of Guymon passed away Sunday morning, August 20, 2017 at her home.

The daughter of Joe and Malva B. (Chuesburg) Claybrook, Donna Sue was born April 14, 1942 in Perryton, Texas. Donna was raised in Beaver County, Oklahoma and graduated from Balko High School with the Class of 1960. Following high school, she attended college at Panhandle State University in Goodwell where she met James Kippenberger.

Donna and Jim were united in marriage on July 7, 1962 in Guymon. They made their home on the farm near Guymon where Donna was actively engaged in the family farm. Donna loved children and had worked at the Guymon Head Start program as well as drove a bus for Guymon Public School. Most recently, Donna worked as a hospitality clerk for Holiday Inn, where she enjoyed re-establishing friendships as previous residents returned to Guymon on business and for other community events. She was generous with her time and quietly helped others in need. Donna passed on good memories to those she knew. She was a member of the St. Peter's Catholic Church.

Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Kippenberger on August 28, 2002; brother, Joe DeLoren Claybrook; sister, Doris Sumrall; step-brother, Clarence Shorb; and her father and mother-in-law, Dr. L.H. and Catherine Kippenberger.

Survivors include her two children: daughter, Carol Lynn Holland and husband, Ross of Guymon and son, Patrick Wade Kippenberger and wife, Tracy of Fairview, OK; her three grandchildren: Bryce Colton Kippenberger who is a student at OSU in Stillwater, OK, Catherine Nicole Kippenberger who is a student at SWOSU in Weatherford, OK, and Cody Nathaniel Hoegner who is a student at the Art Institute in Phoenix, AZ; two sisters: Delores Bartel of Balko, OK and Darlene Nelson of Elko, NV; and two sisters-in-law: Lou Ann Batey of Oklahoma City, OK and Sally Gregory of Powell, WY.

At her request, cremation and graveside services will be conducted Saturday morning, August 26th at 10:00 a.m. at the Elmhurst Cemetery in Guymon with Pastor Larry Watson officiating. Services are under the care of the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon.
