Donald Lee "Don" Campbell, 74, longtime Guymon resident passed away Wednesday evening, May 21, 2025 at his home.

The son of Melvin E. and Joy Nell (Reed) Campbell, Don was born November 19, 1950 in Chickasha, Oklahoma.  The Campbell's moved to Guymon from Oklahoma City.  Don attended the Guymon schools where he was a talented football player.  He graduated with the GHS Class of 1970.

Don and Trisha Yocham were married on December 10, 1988 in Guymon.  Don had worked for Adam's Hardfacing for 20 years and then for Seaboard Foods for nearly 20 years, retiring as lead receiver in the warehouse.  He was a past member of the Elks Lodge, enjoyed reading and was an avid supporter of the OU Sooner football program.

He was preceded in death by his son, Kelley Don Campbell on July 24, 1996 and his parents, Melvin and Joy Campbell.

Survivors include his wife, Trisha Campbell of the home; daughters, Amy and Wayne Mattocks of Texhoma and Tesha Halonen of Guymon; grandchildren: Derrick Halonen of Guymon, Jarrick and Melanie Halonen of Charleston, SC, Karrick Halonen of Guymon, Hunter and Ashton Smelser-Mattocks of Dallas, TX, and Jonathan Campbell and his children of Kentucky.  He is also survived by one brother, Rod Cambell and family of Westville, OK.

A celebration of Don's life will be held Saturday afternoon, May 31st at 2:00 p.m. at the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home.  The family requests that those in attendance wear OU Sooner or red t-shirts and jeans, because nothing made him happier.  Memorials in Don's name can be made to Panhandle Nutrition and will be accepted at the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home, PO Box 1112, Guymon, OK 73942.
