Donald Leroy Sexton, 68, passed away Wednesday evening, March 11, 2026 at his home in Goodwell, Oklahoma surrounded by his loving family.

The son of Wiley Joe and Velma Latice (Dye) Sexton, he was born September 5, 1957 in Midland, Texas.  Donald was raised in Guthrie, Oklahoma, he attended school in Guthrie graduating with the Class of 1975, he then attended college at OSU in Stillwater.

Donald and Sammi Kay Kelley were married June 15, 2019 in Guymon.  He was a parts man with NAPA for several years, retiring in 2021 due to health.  He loved working on cars, motorcycles and auto and commercial glass for 40 years.    He was active with Pink Heals and Iron Thunder.  He enjoyed coaching his kids in little league, and pranking them.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Wilma Sexton, and Bill and Velma Hurst, and brother, Ricky Sexton.

Survivors include his wife, Sammi of the home, children: Cerrie Sexton and Jordan Gonzales of Guymon, Candice Sexton and Matthew Young of Oklahoma City, D.J. Sexton and Rebecca Girouard of Optima, Dillon Sexton and Alyssa of Guymon, Drake Sexton of Oklahoma City, Chris McLemore of Guymon and Samantha Pfrehm and Tyler of Amarillo.  Survivors also include nine grandchildren: Angel, Breanna, Daniel, Blayton, LillyAnn, David, Madeline, Dylan and Liam, one great granddaughter, Ava, and two sisters, Kathy Clark and Sandy Sherrill.

Memorial services will be held Tuesday afternoon, March 17, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Bunch - Roberts Funeral Home with Jim Jamieson officiating.
