Dolores Livesay, 88, of Guymon passed away Tuesday evening, June 2, 2020 at the Heritage Community Manor.

The daughter of Paul E. and Maurine E. (McCullough) Thomas, Dolores Avonne was born May 15, 1932 in Lakin, Kansas. She grew up in Liberal, where she graduated with the LHS Class of 1950.

Dolores and Dean Livesay were married on March 17, 1950 and four children were born to this union: Darrel, David, Deanna and Donald. The Livesay's established Panhandle Pipeline in 1964 in Texhoma and later Panhandle Construction in Guymon, where Dolores was a committed businesswoman. She was an active member of the Guymon First Christian Church and CWF until her declining health forced her to slow down. Dolores was a member of the Friday Night dinner club and the Delphinium Garden Club.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her friend and former husband, Dean Livesay.

Survivors include her daughter, Deanna Rodman and husband, Ronnie and her three sons: Darrel Livesay and wife, Susan, David Livesay and wife, Diane and Donald Livesay and wife, Cheri all of Guymon; nine grandchildren: Kendra Smith and husband, Jeff, Kylee Corder and husband, Austin, Stephanie Chapman and husband, Tyler, Christopher Livesay and wife, Michelle, Derek Livesay and wife, Lauren, Jeremy Rodman and wife, Kristina, Tennille Gomez and husband, Aaron, Leigha Treblik and husband, Nick, and Garrett Livesay and wife, Brandi; 32 great grandchildren; one sister, JoAnn Harris of Plains, Kansas; one brother, Keith Thomas and wife, Harriett of Shawnee, Kansas; along with nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends, including longtime caregiver, Teresa Lemming.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday morning, June 6th at 10:00 a.m. at the First Christian Church with Pastor Larry Watson officiating. Interment will follow at the Elmhurst Cemetery in Guymon.

The Livesay family will greet friends at the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home on Friday evening, June 5th from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
