Dino Ernest Cruz, 46, of Guymon passed away Sunday morning, May 7, 2017 at the Memorial Hospital of Texas County.

The son of Ernestine Gloria Cruz, Dino was born October 20, 1970 in Clayton, New Mexico. He came to Guymon his sophomore year of high school and graduated from GHS with the Class of 1988.

Dino was married to Tammy Parlier on October 27, 1999 in Clayton, New Mexico.

Dino was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church and the Army National Guard. He worked for Walmart, retiring in 2014 due to his health.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Ramon and Ida Cruz; his brother, Joseph Manuel Duran and father-in-law, Danny Parlier.

Survivors include his mother, Ernestine Duran of Guymon; daughter, Kendra DeHerrera of Clayton, New Mexico; son, Tomas Cruz and Breanna Garcia of Guymon; daughter, Autumn Cruz and Justin Dominguez of Artesia, New Mexico; daughter, Amanda Cruz and Nathan Segura of Hooker; daughter, Danielle Cruz of Hooker and their mother, Tammy Cruz of Hooker. Dino is also survived by his girlfriend, Barbara Valdez of the home; grandchildren: Jaydan Garcia, Toby & Trey Cruz, and Raeleigh, Faith and Noel Segura, with baby Segura expected in June; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Rosary will be recited Wednesday evening, May 10th at 8:00 p.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Guymon. Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted Thursday morning, May 11th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church with Father Mike Wheelahan, Celebrant. Interment will follow at the Elmhurst Cemetery in Guymon. Services are under the care of the Bunch - Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon.
