Dereck Wayne Williams, 38, of Perkins, Oklahoma passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2024.

The son of Charles Wayne and Shelly Suzanne (Rayborn) Williams, Dereck was born July 19, 1986 in Liberal, Kansas.  Dereck attended the Yarbrough school system, graduating with the Class of 2004 and then attended OPSU for a semester.

Dereck moved to Perkins from Guymon around 2014.  He worked as a measurement technician in the oil and gas industry.

He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Dorothy Williams and Edna Collins and special cousin, Chaz Rayborn.

Survivors include his three sons:  Kalub Williams of Elkhart, Kansas, Gavyn Williams and Carsen Williams both of Guthrie, Oklahoma; his parents, Charles and Shelly Williams of Guymon; two brothers: Heath Williams of Texhoma, Oklahoma and Tanner Williams and wife, Lyndsay of Eva, Oklahoma; one sister, Tiffany and husband, Jake Hill of Enid, Oklahoma; his grandfather, Melvyn Williams of Eva; along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and extended family.

The family will greet friends on Sunday evening, August 18th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted Monday, August 19th at 2:00 p.m. at the Victory Center with Pastor Eugene Like officiating.  Interment will follow at the Baker Cemetery, SW of Four Corners.
