Jerry David Moore, 68, lifelong panhandle resident, passed away Sunday June 30, 2024 at his home in Texhoma, Texas surrounded by his loving family.

The son of Jerry and Janell (King) Moore, he was born April 2, 1956 in Guymon, Oklahoma.  David attended school in Texhoma, graduating with the Class of 1974.  He was a member of the Baptist Church, and served the City of Guymon as Water Plant Superintendent, retiring in 2017.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jerry and Janell Moore, one son, Christopher Ray Moore, and one brother, Paul Moore.

Survivors include three sons, Kyle Douglas Moore of Tacoma, Washington, Tylar David Moore and Bridget Ray, and Aaron Christopher Moore all of Texhoma, Texas.  Survivors also include two grandchildren: Jonas and Lucas Moore, and three brothers: Dennis and Patti Moore, Steve and Tammy Moore and Jimmie and Diana Moore.

Visitation will be Sunday evening, July 7th between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. at Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be Monday morning, July 8th at 11:00 a.m. at the Texhoma First Baptist Church with Pastor Darren Carpenter officiating.  Interment will follow in the Texhoma Cemetery, services are under the care of the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon.
