David Hager, 71, passed away unexpectedly Thursday evening, June 6, 2024 in Guymon.
The son of Everett and Joan (Richey) Hager, David Everett Hager was born December 31, 1952 in Alva, Oklahoma. David attended Guymon schools, graduating with the GHS Class of 1971.
David and Sandra Morgan were united in marriage on June 27, 1980 in Ponca City, Oklahoma. The Hager family moved to Guymon from Hennessey in August 1986. David worked as a measurement tech for DCP, retiring in 2013. He was a member of the Guymon Church of the Nazarene. Sandy preceded him in death on May 10, 2011.
David and Sue (Pio) Lively were united in marriage on July 3, 2018.
In addition to his first wife, he was preceded in death by his mother, Joan Hager; one sister, Barbara and husband, Galen Parry; sister-in-law, Susi Hager and nephew, Chris Baxter.
Survivors include his wife, Sue of the home; his father, Everett Hager of Guymon; his daughter and son: Crystal Chamblee and husband, Matthew and Teddy Hager and wife, Brittany all of Ponca City, Oklahoma; Sue's son and daughter: Ron and Kim Lively of Hardesty, Oklahoma and Kara and James McDowell of Stillwater, Oklahoma; grandchildren: Connor Hand, Trace Hager, Avery Hager, Ava Chamblee, Liam Chamblee and one great grand baby Chloe Hand (end of August 2024); one sister, Helen Hager of Guymon and one brother, Charles Hager of Windsor, Colorado.
A visitation with the family will be held Sunday, June 9th from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Bunch - Roberts Funeral Home. Graveside funeral service will be held Monday afternoon, June 10th at 3:00 p.m. at the Elmhurst Cemetery in Guymon with Rev. Kason Oakes, pastor of the Guymon Church of the Nazarene and Rev. Odie Nunley officiating.
