Courtney Ann (Valdez) Cook, 36, passed away Saturday afternoon, November 28, 2020 at home in Goodwell, Oklahoma surrounded by family.

The daughter of Johnny and Cathy Valdez, she was born May 1, 1984 in Guymon, Oklahoma.  She graduated from Goodwell High School in 2003 and then from Woodward Beauty College in 2004.  She moved to Alva in May 2003 for college.  Courtney made a home in Mooreland, OK with first husband, Justin Campbell for 17 years.  After their divorce, she moved back to Goodwell in March 2017.

Courtney married Shelby Ray Cook on January 13, 2020 and resided in Goodwell; he survives.  Courtney worked as a Zumba instructor and hairstylist.  She also enjoyed being outside, crafting, cooking, listening to music and spending time with family.

In addition to her husband, she is also survived by her three children: Lane Michael Campbell (12), Caden John Campbell (11) and Hailey RayAnn Campbell (8), all of Woodward; three step-children: Dillon Lewis Cook (20), Eva Ray Cook (18) and Braylen Ann Cook (13) all of Sunray, TX; two nephews: Tayler Austin Valdez and wife, Brianne of Weatherford, OK and Jayden Thomas Valdez of Goodwell; her mother, Cathy Valdez of Goodwell; brother, Jeremy Valdez and wife, Rachel of Turpin, OK; one fur niece, Harlie RayAnn Valdez of Turpin and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Courtney was preceded in death by her daddy, Johnny Valdez and grandparents, Orlando Martinez and Bill and Barbara Ann Bridges.

There will be a time of visitation with the family on Saturday, December 5 ^th from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted Sunday afternoon, December 6 ^th at 2:00 p.m. at the Sunset Lane Baptist Church in Guymon with Pastor David Moore officiating.  Interment will follow at the Goodwell Cemetery.
