Cynthia Lee Key, 74, longtime Guymon and Texhoma resident passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at the Memorial Hospital of Texas County in Guymon.

The daughter of Robert Ralph and Hazel Lea (Reinert) Cornett, she was born May 18, 1950 in Emporia, Kansas.  Cindy was raised and attended school in Sublette, Kansas, later moving to Hugoton, Kansas.

Cindy married Paul David Key on August 5, 1981 in Breckenridge, Colorado.  They moved to Texhoma from Guymon in 1990.  Dave preceded her in death on April 1, 2021.  Cindy worked as an aide in the healthcare industry for many years.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Janet Cornelson.

Survivors include her good friend, Steve Riley of Goodwell, Oklahoma; one sister, Connie Cornett of Guide Rock, Nebraska; and one brother, Richard E. Cornett of New Hampshire.
