Obituary

Christopher Allen Boley, 42, passed away Friday afternoon, June 2, 2017 at Memorial Hospital of Texas County from injuries received in a work accident.

The son of Ronald Lee and Barbara Jean (Bay) Boley, Chris was born March 11, 1975 in Dallas, Texas. He attended grade school and junior high at Goodwell schools, before moving to Oklahoma City for two years and then to Boswell, Oklaoma where he graduated with the Class of 1994.

In November of 1994, Chris proudly joined the U.S. Marine Corps, but later received a medical discharge. He had relocated back to Goodwell in 2015, where he worked for Farmers Elevator. Chris was a jack of all trades and enjoyed working and tinkering on whatever needed fixing. He also had a great love for his children and family, as well as having a genuine heart for others.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Fred & Betty Boley, Vivian Fiscus and Doyle Bay, and uncle, Ronnie Boliver.

Survivors include his mother, Barbara Boley of Goodwell; his father, Ron Boley of Denver, CO; son, Nathan Jacob Boley and his mother, Natasha Struble Boley of Durant, OK; daughter, Khrissa Marie Boley of Antlers, OK; son, Chase Allen Boley of Duncan, OK; son, Cortlyn Blake Stevens of Durant, OK; step-children: D.J. and Ryliegh Struble of Durant, OK; granddaughter, Leslie Marie Boley of Antlers, OK, with another arriving soon; brother, Matthew Boley and wife, Marissa of Goodwell and their children: Stephanie and husband, Darrel Manis of Ulysses, KS and Breanna and Jordan Boley of Goodwell; brother, Chan Boley and wife, Jamie and their children: Conner and Taylor, all of Goodwell; sister, Lisa Boley of Durant, OK and her children: Brittanie Boley and husband, Maurice of Goodwell, Erickha Boley of Durant, OK, Tayonna Boley of Goodwell, and Xavier Henderson of Durant, OK; brother, Micheal Clark and wife, Christina and daughter, Shealynn Y. Lee all of Spokane, WA; great nephews: B.J. Murray, BraSean Murray, Maurice Garth, Jr., Isaiah Jones and Bentley Jones; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other family.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday morning, June 8th at 11:00 a.m. at the Goodwell United Methodist Church with Pastor Van Heckle of the Tabernacle Baptist Church officiating. A private family burial will follow at the Goodwell Cemetery in Goodwell. Friends are invited to a gathering at the Goodwell Community Center immediately following. Services are under the care of the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon.
