Charlotte Shrock, 62, of Guymon passed away Friday, January 18, 2019 at the BSA Hospital in Amarillo, Texas.

The daughter of James and Marlene (Dever) Shrock, Charlotte Denise was born September 12, 1956 in Portales, New Mexico. She attended the Portales School system, graduating from Portales High School in 1974. Charlotte also attended Oklahoma Panhandle State University, earning her Bachelor degree in Psychology.

Charlotte was married to William R. Spriggs, they later divorced but remained friends, raising their boys.

Charlotte moved to Guymon in the early 2000's from Clayton, New Mexico. She worked for the OK Dept. of Human Services and later the Northwest Center for Behavioral Health in Guymon, retiring in October 2018 after 17 years of service. She loved her work, her family and especially her pets.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Jamie Edwards.

Survivors include her sister, Kaye Barnes and husband, Rusty of Clovis, New Mexico; brother-in-law, Jim Edwards of Electra, Texas; her three sons: Ricky Myers and wife, Debbie of Boise City, Oklahoma, Michael Myers and wife, Kathleen of Clayton, New Mexico and Justin Spriggs of Defuniak Springs, Florida; nine grandchildren: Kyle, Kayla, Korben, Taran, Kimberly, Alton, Nichole, Alyssa and Aralyn; one great grandson, Urijah; six nieces and nephews, numerous great nieces and nephews; and her beloved babies (her pets): Walter, Dolly Jane, Cricket and Peanut.

Memorial services will be conducted Wednesday morning, January 23rd at 10:00 a.m. at the Bunch – Roberts Chapel.

Memorials in memory of Charlotte can be given to the Northwest Domestic Crisis Center. Memorials will be accepted at the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1112, Guymon, OK 73942.
