Dr. Charles Roscoe Littell, 89, of Hugoton, Kansas, passed away Monday, March 28, 2022 at the Pioneer Manor.

The son of Delmas and Eunice (Ipson) Littell, he was born February 2, 1933 in Rolla, Kansas. Charles attended school in Rolla, graduating with the Class of 1951. He attended college at KU, in Lawrence, Kansas, graduating with a BS in 1955. Charles served in the US Army, and was honorably discharged with the rank of Captain. He graduated with a doctorate of optometry from Pacific University in Forrest Grove, Oregon in 1972.

Charles and Ginny Stewart were united in marriage on April 16, 1960 in Perth-Andover, NB Canada. He served the Hugoton, Kansas area as an optometrist for over thirty years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Delmas and Eunice Littell and one brother, William Littell.

Survivors include his wife, Ginny Littell of the home, one son, Mark Littell and wife, Christine of Edmond, Oklahoma, one daughter, Lisa Littell of Hugoton, seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday afternoon, April 2nd at 2:00 p.m. at the Rolla United Methodist Church with Pastor Wesley Young officiating. Interment will follow in the Rolla Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the Pioneer Manor staff for the care that was given to Charles.
