Charles Lynn "Chuck" Griffin, 75, longtime Guymon resident, passed away Wednesday evening, July 24, 2024 at the Wheatridge Park Care Center in Liberal, Kansas.

The son of Harry and Josephine (Berkamp) Griffin, he was born August 19, 1948 in Scott City, Kansas.  The family moved to Guymon from Woodward, Oklahoma in 1960.

Chuck attended school in Guymon, graduating with the Class of 1966, he then attended OPSU in Goodwell for two years.  He worked several years for Adams Hard Facing, and Hinchey Ford parts department.  He was a member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church.

Chuck is preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Josephine Griffin and one brother, Darrel Griffin.

Survivors include his sister, Donna Maxwell of Odin, Kansas, brother, Dale Griffin and wife, Liz of Guymon, and five nieces and nephews: Jim Maxwell of Odin, Kansas, Linda Klug also of Odin, Vickie Clark of Aztec, New Mexico, Josh Griffin of Amarillo, Texas and Lisa Mata of Arvada, Colorado.

There will be a time of viewing at the Bunch - Roberts Funeral Home on Sunday afternoon, July 28th from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.  Funeral services will be Monday morning, July 29th at 10:00 a.m. at Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home with Rev. Odie Nunley officiating.  Interment will follow in the Elmhurst Cemetery.
