Chantry Clay, 39, lifelong Guymon resident, passed away Monday morning, December 4, 2017 at the Memorial Hospital of Texas County.

The son of Billy Joe and Carla Jane (Clay) Seymour, he was born March 1, 1978 in Shamrock, Texas. Chantry attended school in Guymon and worked as a clerk in retail sales the majority of his life. He was a member of the Guymon Eastside Church of Christ.

Chantry was preceded in death by one brother, Landon "Hopper" Edwards, and his grandparents: Catherine Daily and A.B. and Della Clay.

Survivors include his parents, Bill and Carla Seymour of Guymon; dad of Estefana and Gavin Sullivan; sisters: Tiffany Edwards and fiancée, Matt Martinez of El Reno, Oklahoma and Annie Seymour of Guymon; brothers: Brandon Edwards of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Matt Edwards of Lubbock, Texas and Steven Seymour of Guymon. Survivors also include numerous nieces, nephews, other family and many friends.

Memorial services will be conducted Saturday afternoon, December 9th at 2:00 p.m. at the Bunch – Roberts Chapel with Darren Buck officiating. Family inurnment will be in the Elmhurst Cemetery. Services are under the care of the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon.

Memorials in memory of Chantry may be given to Shriners Hospitals for Children. Memorials will be accepted at the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1112, Guymon, Oklahoma 73942.
