Catherine Joanna Brewer, 51, of Optima passed away Tuesday morning, November 6, 2018 at the Heritage Community Dunaway Manor.

The daughter of Joann Florence Mason, she was born November 30, 1966 in Artesia, California. She moved to the Oklahoma Panhandle from California in the early 1980's.

She was married to Joe D. Brewer on July 4, 1985 in Optima. Catherine was an active member of the Victory Center and loved teaching children and Christian music. She was a waitress and an in-home caregiver.

She is survived by her stepmother, Ellen Winters of California; two sons, Jesse J. Brewer and Deven J. Brewer both of Optima; sister, Vickie Hammond of Keyes, Oklahoma and two brothers, Chuck Tuttle of Guymon and Charles Norman of Bellingham, Washington.

Memorial services will be conducted Saturday morning, November 10, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Bunch - Roberts Chapel with Rev. Odie Nunley officiating.
